Short Rib and Marsala Bowtie
Hello, I visited LOU LOU'S last year for my bday. I fell in love with the atmosphere and the customer service was impeccable. I returned to LOU LOU'S again to celebrate my 60th bday! My children took care of the reservations Last year I chose the chicken carbonaro pasta. That is one of my favorite dishes. However, I have never tasted one that could stand against your's. My son recommended it, and it DID NOT disappoint!! Every bite was better than the one before. I took half home. I stretched it in order to get through 2 more days. It was incredible! This year I told my children, that I wanted to celebrate at LOULOU'S again for my 60th. , So this year, my children, my Gbabies, and a few family members joined us. As soon as we walked in the door. We were greeted with the most amazing staff. They directed us to our reservation section. We had the MOST BEAUTIFUL spirited waitress! We can't remember her name ,but she didn't miss a beat!' She deserves a raise!! She really took good care of us! As for me,I love trying different things. I asked the waitress about the Rib steak & bow tie pasta. She said" It's like it's giving you a warm hug!" I ordered it. And she was NOT wrong! Every bite literally melted in my mouth. It was soooooo good! Every one enjoyed their meal as well. To top it off, my son had pre-ordered me a dessert for my 60th National Holiday celebration.!!! The waitress brought it out to me, it was a Cre'me Burulee!! It was topped with fresh blackberries!! Which by the way is one of my favorite fruits! They remind me of the summertime. When I was a little girl, my Grandmother had a blackberry tree in her back yard. We would sneak and eat them, off the vines. We would get caught, and fussed at .We knew they were for blackberry pies for church! They were always so sweet & so perfect! I shared my dessert with my Gdaughter! We both loved it! And yes, it also just melted in my mouth! I have never returned to a restaurant for my bday. But, I had no desire to go anywhere different for my 60th! And Again You all came through. And it Again BEAUTIFUL! Thank you all! Keep doing what you're doing. You are All greatly appreciated! Small Pasta Carbonara
I was delicious as always, one of my favorite dishes 😋
Cajun Dusted Oysters
This dish was delicious. Neither a drop or morsel were left behind! The oysters were perfectly fried, served with these wonderful cheese grits and swimming in crawfish etouffee. The crispy bacon and spring onions were a nice touch and helped cut through some of the richness. I'd happily order this again!
Bayou Dip
The bayou dip was fantastic. I ordered it along with the daily special. Both items were delicious.
Catering Shrimp & Grits
This was outstanding!!! Better than my family from New Orleans ever made. An absolute must try when you go.
Hot Brown
My first time at Lou Lou, and it will not be my last! I had never had a Hot Brown before, so took a leap and tried it here....will not order it anywhere else because I know I will be disappointed!! The sauce and the cheese married with the turkey and bacon *chef's kiss*, I've never had anything like it, it was amazing!!

What can I say, from someone who lived in Chicago for some time, they've nailed the Chicago Style pizza!! Think I'm averaging one a week. Staff is top notch as well. My go to place for my family and I in St Matthew's
Small Caesar Salad
I needed a break between shopping and the next thing, and a Caesar Salad at LouLou St. Matthews was just the ticket. Fresh, crispy, crunchy with the perfect dressing. A cup of hot tea and I was ready to continue my day.
